I have a research question as an author.
I’m writing a novel about a goth rock band, and now I’m wondering: how long does it take, roughly, to record a song? I mean, when you’re in the recording studio, the song is completely finished, and it’s time to record it? Does it vary a lot? Does it take a day, or several days, or does it depend on the song?
I’m referring to the actual recording, not the post-production work.

When a band becomes "stablished"?
I don't find sad seeing old bands tour and play only their most popular songs.
I do find sad that they don't release new albums, or they do but it's contractually-obligated trash or they go creatively bankrupt.
There are few bands who don't. I'll put #DreamTheater on that list.
