Last week at a Music and Beyond (musicandbeyond.ca) concert a friend of the family brought another friend of hers along. Apparently they were both language geeks and we ended up talking about the Salish language, Old English, Middle English, Ottawa Valley English I've lost track. It was great fun!'
She (family friend) just sent me a lovely link to a NYT article on a typo in Chaucer. I wish I could share the article!
