Just had a random thought about building a decentralised online library using the #Murmurations protocol.
Many authors make e-versions of their books available for reading or download on their website, like David Holmgren's RetroSuburbia;
What if they could put a simple JSON file on that website, containing info about the book and where to find it, using a standard format. Then anyone could build a catalogue website to make them more discoverable.

#ShowerThoughts: Could we use Murmurations to replace NodeInfo in fediverse servers, for sharing server stats and public details? Or make NodeInfo compatible with Murmurations aggregators?

Also are you using the #Murmurations protocol?
This could be a good way for agroecology folks to share data on their projects, which could then be pulled into the @AgroecologyMap. One advantage is that if they update aspects of the data they're sharing with Murmurations, their map entry can be automatically updated.

#ClimateDiary Am giving the last lecture of my #Personhood module today - about personhood and the #Anthropocene. Windy days - some birding type folks pointed out to me that there was a peregrine falcon stalking the swirling clouds of starlings. I stood and watched a while but didn't see it catch any.

I lived in Brighton, uk for a bit. The starlings roosted on the West Pier which is a steel skeleton after a fire decades ago.
The murmurations in the autumn were amazing.

Sunday evening we went to #Roughtor at other end of #BodminMoor to watch #murmurations at sunset. Their roost a far plantation this time. Then an owl glided in front of our car on the way home! Happy Monday friends

@humanetech @amirouche @jauntywunderkind420 @alcinnz looks like #Murmurations might help solve the problem that the folks at http://mysilio.garden are having with Solid. The fundamental problem with federated data store is that people can’t remember which data is in which Pod. Having a single index for your data store (or a shared data store in the case of Murmurations) could be one approach. Interesting stuff.
