Bei der Telefon App von #fossify kann ich in den Einstellungen regeln, dass ich zwar von unbekannten Nummern angerufen werden kann, nicht aber von Anrufenden, die ihre Nummer unterdrücken.
Das geht bei eurer App leider nicht so differenziert... Schade!

Wieso funktioniert die Aufgaben App nur wenn ich den Zugriff auf die Kontakte erlaube? Diese Berechtigung braucht sie doch gar nicht!

Eure pdf-App ist gut!
Die für Musik kennt leider keine Ordner und ist damit für mich und meine Musiksammlung völlig unbrauchbar! (Gut: sie hat einen EQ.)
Wenn eure Open Key Chain das kdbx Format importieren könnte, wäre schön!

Eure Maps funktioniert leider nur mit eingeschaltetem "echten" Standort...
Bei #organicMaps kann ich ohne Standort arbeiten und Tage vorher in aller Ruhe schauen, wie ich von A nach B kommen werde... Das geht mit eurer App nicht. Schade!

Euer Dateimanager schlägt allerdings dem Fass den Boden aus!!
Dass dieser Dateimanager dem von Google gleicht, finde ich ziemlich irritierend!
Dass dieser Dateimanager allerdings ohne mich zu fragen, meine Zugangsdaten zu meinem Cloud Konto abgegriffen und gespeichert hat ist ein absolutes Unding!!
Und es gibt für diesen Dateimanager überhaupt keine Einstellmöglichkeiten!
Und auch den kann ich nicht deinstallieren / deaktivieren!

@CoMaps Suddenly I have a problem with CoMaps only showing my real location, now in eastern Finland, for a short period of time, and then hopping to a place in Stockholm. Other apps show correct location. I've tried everything, including uninstalling the app and installing it again, but the problem persists.
I'm on eOS, which may be relevant, but I've checked all location settings I can think of.

No he votado pero sinceramente esperaría a ver con quien trabaja GrapheneOS y aguantaría con el diapositivo que tienes (que sabiendo que es un iPhone te aguanta de sobra otro año, en casi cualquier caso).

Yo creo que a dia de hoy tode usuarie que se salga de comprar y usar algo OOTB (Out of the Box) creo que debería analizar el uso que da al móvil y luego evaluar lo que hay.

Lo que hay ahora mismo es:

1. Graphene OS: el mejor SO orientado a privacidad, con un sinfín de features al respecto, sin competidores (no, Murena no es un competidor, hay un debate desde hace tiempo pero no le llega a la suela y ni siquiera hace falta ponerse estricto para declarar vencedor aqui). Lo malo? Toca comerse un Google Pixel (un poco ambigüa la decisión, el mio lo compré de segunda zarpa porque no le veia lógica al de-Googling comprando un móvil de Google)

2. Murena: parecido a Graphene, pero con menos funciones, aunque este está disponible en una gama mas amplia de dispositivos.

3. ROMs varias de uso general, como LineageOS, Evolution X y demás. Requieren un dispositivo con bootloader desbloqueable y algunos tienen instalaciones un poco engorrosas. No recomendable para le usuarie promedio.

Dicho esto, Graphene ha dicho (me consta que ya te han dejado el enlace por ahí abajo) que a lo largo de 2026 se desvelará quien es su nuevo vendor y en 2027 se empezarán a vender dichos dispositivos.

Possible que cela soit lié à ton opérateur, je suis chez Free et dans les paramètres des données mobiles j'ai bien l'option pour activer les appels Wifi (et ils fonctionnent).

Das angekündigte letzte Sicherheitsupdate für mein #SamsungGalaxyA52s ist aufgespielt. Jetzt wird es langsam mal Zeit für was neues.

Ich schwanke noch zwischen #Fairphone6 mit #murenaos und dem #shiftphone8. Das #Pixel ist bei mir eigentlich raus. Ist für mich ein wenig komisch, um ein googlefreies Handy zu bekommen, ausgerechnet ein Handy von Google zu kaufen.

Problemi con Raccoon

Raccoon for Friendica sarebbe un'ottima app per poter accedere a tante delle numerose funzionalità di Friendica dallo smartphone. Peccato che più lo uso e più saltano fuori problemi...
Già in un post precedente ho segnalato come ogni tanto il testo di alcuni post sparisca, o venga troncato dopo poche righe.
Inoltre, anche la timeline ogni tanto (ma anche dopo meno di un giorno dal login) sparisce completamente, mentre le altre schede continuano a mostrare contenuto. Il workaround è fare logout e login andando sulla scheda profilo, ci vuole un attimo con le credenziali memorizzate nel browser ma senza dubbio è una bella rottura di scatole.
Ora, stamattina ho aperto la schermata dei tracker rilevati da uno dei miei dispositivi /e/OS (un Teracube 2e che tengo senza SIM) e, con mia grande sorpresa, Raccoon era in cima alla lista con ben 4 tracker! Ho aperto la relativa schermata e vi rimando all'immagine per i dettagli. Vedo inoltre che anche l'App Lounge di sistema mostra 2 tracker, mentre per Fedilab non ne viene rilevato nessuno.
La cosa strana è che questo lo vedo solo su questo dispositivo. Sul mio telefono principale (un Murena One su cui gira esattamente la stessa versione di /e/, la 3.0.1), né Raccoon né l'App Lounge mostrano tracker.
Per completezza, l'analisi Exodus dei certificati di firma dei tracker ne rileva in Raccoon solo uno, Sentry, che non è nessuno dei 4 mostrati da /e/...

So my journey to de big tech my life has taken the next step, I have ordered a Fairphone 5 with Murena /e/OS. My iPhone has died after I de Appled all my services by moving to a combination of Synology NAS and Proton services.

I will keep sharing the experience, my experiment with SailfishOS on a C2 has been unworkable as a daily driver but keeping it alongside my main phone for now.
