  1. F#@K off Murdoch.
Imagine running a front page lamenting falling house prices while people are literally living in tents.
That tells you everything about whose side you’re on.
The Daily Telegraph isn’t concerned about Australians. It’s concerned about protecting property speculation and keeping housing unaffordable.
Every young Australian locked out of home ownership is collateral damage in Murdoch’s campaign to defend the wealth of landlords and developers.
    Journalism holds power to account.
    Propaganda protects it.

  2. Real estate agents are rarely considered the victim. But when it comes to the behemoths of property listings in Australia, estate agents have faced price gouging to the tune of a 5000% price rise over the last 15 years for a 'premium' listing on the market-dominant platform. Without paying for that 'premium' service, properties tend to disappear from search results.

Since the behemoth in question is a subsidiary of (and substantially bankrolling) Australia's dominant media company (i.e. #Murdoch), with a market capitalisation greater than supermarket giant #Coles, here is yet another reason the political duopoly are reluctant to touch structural #TaxJustice issues such as #NegativeGearing or #CapitalGainsTax.

Murdoch's news.com is advertising/doing it's propaganda schtick in my local shopping centre / mall.

"Jacinta Price rips into Albanese over VIP flights" the 5 foot high advertising screen read for 20 seconds before moving on to the next bit of consumerist brainwashing, an ad about which health insurance you should buy.

#KevinRudd's idea of a #RoyalCommissionIntoMurdochMedia is still a good one.
And seeing where USA, UK, NZ, and IN are, we need it more now.
