It’s the insidious nature of the #SkyNews ‘Entertainment Channel’ (so described by #Murdoch himself in a UK Court) to pervert the truth and present it as ‘Reality’ to the great unwashed which is oblivious to the fun made of them by the #Murdochcracy . A ‘reality TV show’ scripted to muddle the brains of those who reguylarly watch the Channel.Ever come across a ‘brainwashed’ idiot who confessed he is indeed brainwashed? Foolproof I tell you. NewsCorp knows it’s on a winnere here.

Some of the #ABC old guard are still doing #Journalism Lyons is one of them. A few young ones are joining the guard, but they are in the minority these days against the #Murdochcracy infiltrators. The ABC I grew up with is dead as a dodo. Yet another reason why I don’t have a TV anymore, there’s nothing there except for the occasional plunge into #SBS (But that’s another audience altogether). -

I so enjoy Bernard Keane’s column in Crickey News, he is the itch I enjoy scratching never more so than in this his latest effort:
“The media’s obsession with an Albanese-Trump meeting at the G7, where Australia was a guest attendee, reached absurd levels this week, especially for something that would have been little more than a meet-and-greet, canvassing the broadest of issues. With the world ablaze, genocide openly perpetrated, basic norms overthrown daily, and Australia’s geostrategic position fundamentally altered, our media shrunk the entirety of Australia’s foreign policy down to two men having a handshake. It was a classic demonstration of the parochial, toytown nature of the Australian media.”
