It’s disconcerting how close Kenneth Branagh’s Henry V was to Olivier’s Henry V relative to how far from Sidney Lumet’s Murder on the Orient Express his Murder on the Orient Express is. If the so-called technology had been as widely available in 1989 as it was in 2017, would we have gotten a computer-generated Battle of Agincourt?

Ik kende het verhaal niet, maar het uitgangspunt bij de film Murder on the Orient Express is echt heel erg goed en zit mooi in elkaar. Het is wel typisch begin 20e-eeuws in zijn opzet en doet dus wat archaïsch aan in deze met moderne technieken gemaakte film. De verfilming uit 2017 heeft het verhaal mooi omgezet van boek naar scherm: de sfeer en de beelden zijn mooi en het originele verhaal wordt met respect behandeld. Het is een leuke film, maar geen briljante film, ondanks de grote en goede cast.

While I'm thinking about it--folks are good about image descriptions, which is great! Let's see everyone capitalizing every word in their tags, too! Screen readers can read each word if they're capitalized. Otherwise they just smoosh all the words together into one incomprehensible super word. #MurderOnTheOrientExpress is way more comprehensible than a word salad. And yes, capitalize those prepositions and articles even though you wouldn't in other forms of writing. Let's keep things nice for everyone.
