#murasakishion — Public Fediverse posts

Shion was finally released from the #hololive merch signing hell last month, and went shopping with Ayame afterwards. She seems to be enjoying the freedoms of not working a corporate life, good for her.

The amount of signed merch is set by the talent, and is a limited bonus for buying a full set. So it's an incentive to buy, but also a personal gift from the talent to their fans.

Shion summoned Chloe with a used toothbrush as a catalyst... and Chloe returned just to gross her out again before singing a song.

Time to spin up Chrome to watch Shion's Graduation 3D Live, because the hyperchat plugin doesn't work on Firefox.

Korone loves her old school stuff, so her final cover with Shion is Brave Heart from Digimon Adventure.

They even put in the evolutions of the fans. The koronesuki as random skin colored people is just hilarious. No wonder there were so many meetings to decide if they needed to be clothed or not.

A summary of #hololive Shion's graduation, for those who aren't familiar with her situation, and the stream was in JP and clips are banned:

• Other JP holomems knew about her intentions for months now, they were only informed about the announcement this morning in JP time (see Miko's stream)
• Shion joined hololive at 17 as part of their 2nd gen and has streamed there for 6.5 years
• She's been in and out of hospital a few times with several hiatuses and one indefinite hiatus before
• At least one hiatus was just from burnout
• She is currently seeing a doctor for severe insomnia (see her :deadbird: )
• She was closest to Aqua, who left last year, then became close to Chloe who also left
• It was only a matter of time, working for many years in the same company, her poor her physical and mental health, and her good friends leaving. Even the clippers posted the "Thank you Shion for 6 years" videos literally minutes after the stream ended :neocat_facepalm:
• She wants to graduate because of 'differences in direction', which is the same reason that most others gave
• She specifically said that she wants to "be at her best when she leaves before she comes to hate her work", and "to enjoy FES and the time she has left"

The doomposters are posting, and the confused tourists are making confused posts, and karma farmers who never posted before are making reddit posts to farm karma from the drama. Literally 10k people subscribed to her on the day to post on the pre-chat, and there were a lot of chats by antis (see socialblade). The anti-holo brigade is real, but thankfully those got drowned out by thankful fans that resulted in 300k viewers.

Shion deserves what's best for herself, and the company isn't collapsing. We want what's best for the streamers, right?

No idea how #hololive got perms for Apt. by Rosé and Bruno Mars, but I'm guessing the song being jointly South Korean and American made it easier? But yeah, Shionglish is very cute.
