@jamesbannan I like #forgejo over #gitea now. Gitea changed their licensing and isn't opensource( as in #freedom ) anymore.
I find Forgejo (and formerly Gitea) a good balance of features. It has PR support, issues, automated mirroring, and the basics of CD/CI in a small resource footprint. It has many of the commonly used feature as #multiuser, #oidc, organizations, etc. It doesn't have all the features of #gitlab but gitlab usually uses about 4GB of RAM base. That's very heavy for #homelab.

If #Linux would have a #wayland compatible #multiuser #RemoteDesktop solution it would change the whole world.
But sadly when they deprecated #x11 they didn't seem this was a good idea.
I believe in companies this would open so many new doors. So sad that this *modern* #wayland still sucks in some areas. -

samsung is a disgrace to Android. They are an Android monopoly who took a big thing that makes Android great/fun/private etc -multiple user profiles -and they removed it. I wish we could get everyone to boycott all Samsung products until they add multiple user profiles to phones. People should buy pixel phones instead, which *do* have multiple user profiles

draft - so i kind of want to type about some personal stuff, but not really on this account, so i'm inclined to maybe create another account. but can i do it on the same instance. i like techhub because of the 1000 characters compared to 500. do any other instances have 1000 characters? even 750 would be better than 500. i mean, i guess 500 is ok too. which is in turn better, almost double than the paltry 280 that twitter gives us. hm.
