For #MeerMittwoch this is the view from the mainland of Northern Ireland looking out across the sea to first, Raithlin Island, then Scotland in the distance. In fact, that's the famous (or infamous) Mull of Kintyre.
Raithlin Island is Northern Ireland's northernmost point, was the site of the country's first Viking raids, and was one of the places at which Robert the Bruce sought refuge.
