Just finished #translating from #Persian (very roughly) a 40 page chapter comparing the #epistemology & #methodology of #IbnKhaldun with the those of the #socialsciences . The hardest part? Not trying to figure out how to render into a correct & comprehensible #English the author's attempt to read #Hegel & #Marx 's 'methodo-epistemologies' through the recondite vocabulary of notoriously difficult 17th century #Iranian philosopher-mystic #MullaSadra.
