"Chief Adviser calls for strong national unity against fascist forces
Poor law and order situation and weak administration were highlighted in the two spells of meeting between Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus and leaders of 17 political parties and alliances.
The first meeting was held on Tuesday night with four major political parties and the second one was held with 13 political parties on Wednesday afternoon at the State Guest House, Jamuna, in Dhaka city.
During the Wednesday meeting, Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus emphasised the need for stronger political unity against fascist forces despite ideological differences and competition.

কেমন যেন শুধু কাজের কথা বলেই শেষ।
কোন স্বজন হারানোর বেদনা নেই।
কোন বিগত সরকারের অপকর্মের বিবরন নেই।
নেই কোন অশ্রু বিসর্জন।
একবার ও বললেন না উনি আমাদের জন্য কি কি ত্যাগ করেছেন।
উনি আমাদের ব্যক্তিগত ব্যবহারের জন্য কি কি দিয়েছেন।
যাহ্ এইডা কিছু হইলো?
আসলে স্যার আমরা অভিনেত্রীর নকল অভিনয় দেখতে দেখতে সত্যিকারের সরকারের বক্তব্য কেমন হওয়া উচিত তা ভুলে গেছি।
কি কি করা দরকার সব বললেন।
আমরা আদিখ্যেতা করে দাবি দাওয়া, সময় সীমা জানতে চেয়ে ওনাদের কাজের অসুবিধা করছি তাও বললেন।
সবশেষে পরিস্কার করে নির্ভয়ে বলে দিলেন ছাত্রছাত্রীদের অনুরোধে উনি এসেছেন, ওরা যখন চাইবে তখনই চলে যাবেন তার আগে পুর্ণাঙ্গ শক্তিতে কাজ করতে চান।
আর আমার কাছে সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ যা মনে হয়েছে, এবার আমাদের ব্যর্থ হওয়ার সুযোগ নেই। তাহলে আমরা জাতি হিসেবে হেরে যাব।
