Tonight's Top of the Pops features The Moffatts. They were like Hanson, only Canadian, and a little bit better.

Much Music - the equivalent of MTV - staged a week of outdoor concerts in a ski resort. Glorious sunny setting, and top pop music.

From "Snow Job 1999", here's The Moffatts. My favourite of theirs, "Girl of my dreams", is second song up.

MuchMusic and MusiquePlus shaped the way a generation discovered and connected with their favourite artists.

Branded as “the nation's music station,” MuchMusic was a cultural touchstone that brought nationally and internationally renowned musical artists to street-level Toronto.

MusiquePlus was established in 1986. The station would play a critical role in developing Quebec and French-Canadian music, in addition to playing videos by international artists.

@wylliamk I'm sure corporate had their reasons, 💵, but it's sad they weren't able to keep it up.

I just looked up #MuchMusic to see if they're similar. Their schedule is Seinfeld, Cash Cab, The Simpsons, Ridiculousness - a.k.a. they're just a rerun channel now.

I guess there is no money in music television anymore 🤷
