Mucap is slowly becoming usable. Completely reworked the file creation to exactly fit the selected area. NoteOns and NoteOffs are done at start and end for truncated notes.
I also capture bars from the DAW and implement snapping. The video shows precise alignment on bars. Good if you improvise to a track in progress.
I develop this on NixOS, does anyone want to help packaging for other distros?
