I think that I am finished with this full art alter of a revised swamp. I reserve the right to go back because I could probably fiddle with it forever, but at some point you gotta stop (I guess) and I'm pretty happy with it! As I've probably said, lands are my favorite cards, so this was fun.
Still needs varnishing.

My return to magic has been heavy on nostalgia and viewing the world through a greater appreciation for the art, so this feels like an appropriate project.

My 3rd alter on a Magic: The Gathering Forest card (beta!) for one of my patrons who collects Halloween alters. So tiny!!!!

Painted on a life counter to have a treasure counter matching my commander, Prosper, Tome Bound. My second freehand so far end while I messed up the color thickness I'm somewhat satisfied with the outcome. :)

#introduction
Hi! After painting tabletop minatures for years, I got into altering trading cards a few days ago. So far I only did border extensions, but I'd like to be able to really paint new art on them - unfortunately, I realized, I need to learn how to paint for that properly. I'm using acrylics.
Came here in the hope to find people to exchance experiences and talk about painting.
