Just finished swapping out switches in my Lulu split ergo-keyboard.

Removed the Momoka Frog v2 switches and put in some "Deep Sea silent box switches" by Kailh for the alphas & num row and some Kinetic Labs' silent "Gecko Switches" for the mods.

The sound profile is much better now and still far away from silent. I really like the deep and dampened profile. Reminds me of some strange animal tapping on trees in a rain forrest at night for some reason.

Okay Fediverse. Now that I’ve made my cap set decision, I need opinions on what base board to mount my inbound MT3 Dancer #keycaps on. Colour, specifically. Obviously black would be a decent choice. Anything else? I thought perhaps wood, like a Filco with a liquid wood Kobo case. Kid says no. I also thought some sort of white, maybe off white. Reds are out, as are pink and green. Aw man. There have been very few #keycap sets that I’ve daydreamed about owning; #Dancer is one of them. #Drop have a BOGO running on #MT3 caps and Dancer is available. It’s the expected price, $120 - and coming at the tail end of my #mechanicalkeyboards obsession where I’ve already vowed not to drop that kind of $ on frivolous cap sets, I know I’m not going to buy it.
