I strongly agree with u on the resisting part, but I dont understand your point about the weaponisation of digital souvereignity:
„Regulations that dictate how American companies interact with consumers in the European Union, like the Digital Markets Act and the Digital Services Act, will face scrutiny from the Administration.“
This is an attack on free speech (see factchecks at meta, X) in order to strengthen and collabrate with far right/extremists groups in Europe as Vance said @ #MSC2025

Bei ARD kann man ja nicht 10 Sekunden vorspulen wie bei ZDF, also musste ich es wieder abstellen.Aber ich hab beim #MSC2025 den informellen Talk nach Zelenskyy's Rede geguckt. Vom Typ Habeck, oder? Solche Politiker gibts kaum noch.
Und wenn man bedenkt, dass der bloß TV-Comedy gemacht hat und quasi aus Trotz gewählt wurde, nicht weil man glaubte, dass der was bringen könnte....
Und dann waren seine ersten beiden Jahre COVID und seine nächsten beiden Jahre Putler's Krieg. Und wie famos er immer noch ist, humorvoll, verschmitzt, weise sogar.

So there may very well be US restrictions on security if the EU keeps inforcing digital regulations.
Actually, that was a very interesting answer, that Vance was quietly MORE extreme at #aiactionsummit than #MSC2025 /fin
The below is congruent with the above, and way more interesting than its headline. What Europe has to do, and still might get from US.
