Surprising how little coverage the #terrorist attack on the North Carolina electric grid is getting. It’s a big deal, apparently motivated by an upcoming drag show in the affected county.

South American insurgent groups used this kind of tactic all the time. When I lived in Lima in the mid 80s bombings by #MRTA (Tupac Amaru) caused frequent blackouts, and the same was true for bombings by #FPMR (Manuel Rodriguez Front) in Chile.
