If Burnham became an MP there's no guarantee that his successor would win the Manchester mayoral for #Labour. If Labour lost that election Burnham's chances of becoming leader would be dead from the outset.
Anyway, I'd prefer #MrFlipFlop to stay in charge of the #RedTories - more chance of #Green victories at the May elections. -

How long will it take #MrFlipFlop to renege on this pledge? And WTF has it got to do with the private sector, who will no doubt suck money out like the leeches they are?
Don't stop there, #Starmer promise us you'll #renationalise water and electricity as well. Not that you ever will.
