Wonder if we can do something akin to #MQA, encode the narrowband audio in such a way that a compatible decoder would restore a portion of the higher band spectrum that'd help with intelligibility. Perhaps this has already been done even. It'd have to somehow survive all the different codecs used in the wild for digital audio transmission in telecom though.

Just had my high-fidelity IEMs tested by a colleague who understood the difference between listening to sound with bluetooth devices and experiencing music with wired IEMs.
I'm always trying to explain what I feel when listening to music this way, but t's hard to describe an emotion while feeling it for yourself is always convincing.
