Beginn von Bauarbeiten direkt neben dem #MPSGöttingen: Bis Sommer 2026 sollen westlich des Gebäudes ein neues Wohnheim sowie eine Kindertagesstätte entstehen. Nachdem die Arbeiten zu Beginn dieser Woche aufgrund guten Wetters früher als erwartet starteten, zeigte sich die Szenerie heute zunächst ausgesprochen neblig. Die Sonne war dadurch über längere Zeit hinweg durch den Nebel gefiltert als Scheibe erkennbar, und die ganze Umgebung schien in Grautöne getaucht, in denen nur durch die orangeroten Baumaschinen Farbakzente gesetzt wurden.

Applicants for the @imprs_solar are visiting this week and are currently on a guided tour through the #MPSGöttingen. They are learning about the science done here and will hear all about the #IMPRS #PhD program tomorrow. Starting next fall, many of them will become new PhD students at the #UniGöttingen or @tubraunschweig
