[Перевод] Лицензии слабого копилефта: могут ли они заменить пермиссивные (разрешительные) лицензии?
Среди открытых лицензий хорошо известны строгие GPL и (с другой стороны) разрешительные — MIT, Apache. Однако менее известен слабый копилефт, который находится между ними. А ведь эти лицензии имеют такие популярные приложения и библиотеки, как Mozilla Firefox, glibc, LibreOffice и другие. Подходящий ли это вариант для интеграции открытого софта с закрытым ? И стоит ли авторам ПО с открытым кодом использовать лицензии слабого копилефта вместо пермиссивных (если GPL/AGPL не подходит) ?

Thinking about licensing again. I'm torn between the MPL and EUPL. I'm mostly after an MPL that closes the SaaS loophole: use my crates and jars where you like, but if you improve my work, share alike. This sounds like the EUPL, except I can't so easily tell, less explain to a skittish corporate attorney, what triggers a "derived work."

Meet David Albrecht – Fascination with the invisible
Dr. David Albrecht is passionate about #science at the interface of #biology and #physics. He explores viruses and develops advanced #microscopy methods to visualize the smallest details of life at the nanoscale.
Since 2019, David has been conducting research at #MPL in the Nano-Optics Division of Prof. Vahid Sandoghdar. He pursued his Ph.D. at ETH Zurich, spending six years at King’s and UCL.

reasoning: i shall have something neo on a first class neo, and old neos are "übergangslösung"
contradiction: on the 1011 from trans pride stuttgart, o got a newer neo
revised theorem: before neopussy, newer neos for 1. klasse will only spawn when there is an ereignisse related to neopussy
reasoning: a few days before that, the krankenkasse greenlit the kostenzusage for gaop
and today, yet another newer neo maybe because tomorrow i need to call #MPL to know if my paperwork is ok and the gaop is scheduled

after all, after my previous hypothesis that i can only unlock newer neo first class after neopussy was broken, i modified it to "maybe newer neos will spawn when something related to neopussy happens"

Within tissues, cells are embedded in the extracellular matrix. Their biomechanical interactions play a crucial role in many biological processes. #MPL scientists developed a lab-on-a-chip system, which enables precise pressure forces to be applied to cellular microenvironments. This could be applied in med. diagnostics.

#Research Group Nicolas Joly “Microstructured Optical Fibres”
#Quantum entangled states play a critical role in quantum #physics and #technology. Through “spontaneous parametric down-conversion”, three entangled infrared photons can be generated from a single green photon. Researchers at #MPL are working towards creating such photon triplets by employing ultrathin tapered optical fibers with a diameter of less than 800 nanometers.

Division Jochen Guck “Cell #physics”
With optical diffraction tomography (ODT) scientists can quantify mass density distribution. The technique reveals details in each individual cell, such as nuclei, nucleoli, and mitochondria. Neighboring cells link ‘hands’ – their membranes and filopodia. Scientists at #MPZPM and #MPL have developed novel #microscopy techniques to study the mass density changes of cells under various conditions.

The coupling of invisible light in silicon nitride chips results in the generation of new frequencies or wavelengths that become visible to the naked eye. Integrated photonics has gained significant attention for various applications, such as data communications. Scientists from the #Microphotonics research group at #MPL study microresonators on integrated platforms to explore linear and nonlinear optical effects.
