I already done a post on this when this was talked about before but this is a prime time for me to move my videos across to my Sharkey Instance.

@[email protected] You've been amazing as my hub for videos for the past few years and thank you for hosting it for as long as you have. Due to costs and storage I'll be moving my content over to my solent.social Sharkey Instance under the @[email protected] (for Vlogging / Motorvlogging) and my @[email protected] account (for gaming content).

This was one of the ideas I had a while back while moving between setting up certain instances but after landing on solent.social i'm glad to be moving these final parts of my Fediverse Idenity across to something I have more control over.

In general your payment plan isn't terrible, it actually seems pretty reasonable for storage these days but as someone with an S3 Bucket it makes more sense to pay fees over here rather than pay for the extra space on an instance I don't check in as often as I should.

I do however agree with a few comments I saw under this post such as making it so you can easily see what storage you are paying for along with a way to get to the payment page easier is always helpful. The other thing I can think of is higher tiers for over the 1TB mark as you are working with Video Files what get pretty sizable after 100+ videos on one channel.
