I realise this is slightly weird but during Barbie I was thinking “America Ferrara has the most beautiful eyebrows”.

Obviously her eyebrows are shaped professionally but it's not just that, it's the perfect curves they form when she frowns or squints.

It's not a thing I normally notice, but there's probably a subreddit full of fetishists for this isn't there?

#today I watched the haunting “Reality” from HBO, probably the only movie you will ever see based entirely on an FBI interrogation tape (and the stage play “Is This A Room”).

It’s Pinteresque in its restraint, with just a few heightened moments.

I’m rather pleased for Sydney Sweeney too, she could just coast forever but she took a role where she has almost nothing to work with — ‘woman stands against wall and talks nervously to man’ —and really made it memorable.

I had heard only -ish reviews about the #movie #GunpowderMilkshake, but after having ignored similar reviews about #GunsAkimbo, #ShootEmUp and #Mayhem decided to give it a try

Watched the first part during my #workout and wow - it's a pure #actionmovie from the jump and a whole lot of fun - really made my workout fly by..

Now I'm torn on finishing it off tonight or saving the other half for tomorrow's #elliptical time.

El otro día vi #Morbius y tenía las expectativas tan bajas que ni tan mala me pareció.
Me sorprendió ver el metro de Londres cuando teóricamente la acción está situada en NY. ¿Cuanto te la tiene que sudar todo para no intentar disimular los escenarios?
Por lo demás una película sin alma, de encargo, hecha sin amor ni profesión, para cumplir expediente.
Una lastima porque, por otro lado, se ve como Jared Leto se toma con mucha seriedad su personaje. Seriedad que contrasta con todo el resto de la película y con su contrincante en la ficción, mucho más juguetón y sardónico.
Os la podéis ahorrar, la verdad.

Supuesta película de tensión, que se juega todo a la baza de un planteamiento original pero que se desinfla al ir avanzando.

Pretendidamente hay una crítica al esnobismo culinario, pero resulta tan superflua, tan naif, que se desarma a si misma. No puedes evitar pensar en el bulli, en Ferran Adria, en el ascenso del cocinero estrella aupado por una sociedad satisfecha e indolente. Pero no hay alternativa, no hay reflexión, solo apariencia, postureo antipostureo y satisfacción onanista en la victoria de los humildes.

En Disney+ la tenéis.

Anoche se vió en casa "la princesa prometida", primera vez que la veía el peque y enésima para los mayores. Un cuento bien contado, disfrutable de principio a fin, con sus problemas, que nadie los niega, pero que se perdonan porque nos mantiene la sonrisa en el rostro y el corazón calentito.

Enésima reinterpretación de John Wick, en esta versión encarnado en el cuerpo de Jessica Chastain. Buenas coreografías de pelea y una débil excusa argumental son suficientes para justificar la acción de la película. Entretenida sin llegar a nada más.
