🎬🍿 Oh, Matt Webb, the self-proclaimed guardian of our children's innocence, thinks *Frozen 2* is too scandalous for mere mortals. 🚨 Apparently, Elsa's ice powers and existential musings are more dangerous than Ferris Bueller ditching school, lying, and kissing. 😂 Maybe next, he'll push for *The Little Mermaid* to be rated R for "crustacean nudity." 🦀✨

A rare sensible move and reduction in government over-regulation of the marketplace from my province:
https://globalnews.ca/news/11797795/saskatchewan-calls-cut-on-movie-rating-rules/
The previous rules made it difficult-to-impossible for independent filmmakers to have public showings of their films in theaters.
This is a nice contrast from the last few years, where it seems the only thing the government wants to meddle in are those things where they have no damn business doing so.

So, I know about the IMDb top 250-list, and I know most other movie rating communities (i.e. Letterboxd) have them, but which is the definitive movie top list?
I'd like suggestions/tips on lists that are not community based, but rather based on "real" ratings (yeah, you know what I mean, don't you),

The Tomatometer is a valuable tool, but if it's being manipulated by PR firms, it's no longer a reliable measure of a movie's quality. We must remain vigilant to ensure the accuracy of these ratings. #RottenTomatoes #Tomatometer #MovieRatings #FairReviews #AccurateRatings http://www.techmeme.com/230907/p7#a230907p7

Apparently plotting someone's death is the new G rating in America.
Lets take a moment to consider that if you changed that to "planning to have sex with someone" at the same level of in movie intensity, G would likely not be possible.
