A rare sensible move and reduction in government over-regulation of the marketplace from my province:

The previous rules made it difficult-to-impossible for independent filmmakers to have public showings of their films in theaters.

This is a nice contrast from the last few years, where it seems the only thing the government wants to meddle in are those things where they have no damn business doing so.
