  2. #TheLastStand (2013) : Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 (Cortez) and Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 (Owens).
    General Motors provided seven of each muscle car for filming, only two were returned in pristine condition with others heavily modified for filming. The climatic chase in a 24-acre cornfield outside Albuquerque was made particularly tricky due to a snowstorm prior to filming. The production had not planned for muddy and hard to drive on ground adding to the complications.

  9. #Brannigan (1975) : 1974 Ford Capri 3000 GT Mk2
    John Wayne unable to cope with a manual gearbox, a stuntdriver took the Capri to the edge of the bridge and reversed it down at speed all the time looking ahead. In the film the footage is reversed to make it look like the Capri is speeding up towards the opposite bank of the River Thames.

    The "Star Car" that Centauri drives is based on a DeLorean, including its gull wing doors and its stainless steel construction. In reality it was constructed with a VW engine and sheet metal that resulted in a car that didn't move very fast and sounded terrible, hence driving shots were undercranked with additional space-age sound effects. The Star Car can be seen making a cameo appearance in Back to the Future 2.

    BMC, owners of the Mini, refused to donate any cars for this movie but the chief of Fiat offered their cars in place but it was decided as a British film the mini needed to be the car star. Fiat's boss still donated scores of cars for filming, as well as the factory grounds, and even though the authorities refused to close the roads, the Italian Mafia stepped in and shut whole sections of Turin down for filming, so the traffic jams in this movie are real, as are people's actions during it.
    32 Mini Coopers were used for production, one of them bearing two steering wheels. The actor performed on the dummy wheel while a stunt driver, unseen to the camera, was the one to actually drive the car.
