I cannot not share this.... might brighten someone's Sunday....
It was 60 years ago today.... de Broca taught a cast to play. Sanity vs. insanity. Love. War. Peace.

Very funny, and romantic too, in a wholesome way that reflects the 60's.
A joint French/Italian venture.
Trilingual film. Subtitles. Enjoy!

Ich hab hier mal wieder was richtig klassisches, altes ausgegraben.
"Plan 9 aus dem Weltall" ist trotz billiger Kulissen und primitiver Effekte bemerkenswert kreativ und besitzt einen trashigen, kunstvollen Charme.

Watched RoadHouse 1899 and the recent remake.
Though the original is considered a cult action flick, loved by boomers, I found it pretty boring. The remake, on the other hand, was very entertaining. Fight scenes are well choreographed and in parts shot in inventive and creative ways.
However, some villains are so cliche and some acting is so bad, that I almost stopped watching.

The entry for the legendary and very long fight scene in THEY LIVE in the screenplay is the coolest thing I've ever read in a screenplay.
It extends over 5 pages amd begins on page 78 with the line "And so we begin the fight in the alley, as Nada and Frank go at each other."
Pages 79, 80, 81 are all blank, except for the line "The fight. Continued."
