Are older than you
And throwing a tantrum
Next to the road
You loosen the whatsit
Next to the doodad
Check that the
Doohickey hasn't come off
The whatchamacallit
And when all else fails
You threaten it
With a sledgehammer
And fire

**Burn Like The Sun**

I'm afraid, I prayed
Fingers folded around the
Words I dare not speak
That I will burn them
With these flames
Oh sunshine
A soft voice
Whispered back
You don't want
No one near you
That can't stand your light
So I set the last of me
Free to shine bright
And let them all
Be damned
