    You threaten it

    I'm afraid, I prayed
    Fingers folded around the
    Words I dare not speak
    That I will burn them
    With these flames
    Oh sunshine
    A soft voice
    Whispered back
    You don't want
    No one near you
    That can't stand your light
    So I set the last of me
    Free to shine bright
    And let them all
    Be damned
