(🧵 2/2) My inner perfectionist is STILL holding me back, wanting hours of working on very detailed cover arts per release, an average of 7 minutes per track, with them all tied to :MW: MOULE WORLD lore (especially the :CTRL:, :Bugs:, and :Rocky: arcs).

To get back to releasing music, I can't return to that way of doing things which caused me this burnout, so I've chosen shorter tracks I'm gonna "just finish and release already" to put in an album with no individual arts or #MouleWorld lore.

On January 1, 2020, I finally broke out of my shell and began sharing my music and art with my first release "Halcyon".

I'm going to be honest too: I've lost interest in developing new :MW: MOULE WORLD lore in real-time, like how :Melody: @Melody documented the :CTRL: Cyber Threat Resistance League's technical progress in saving :Delgado: @Delgado in real-time.

I'm instead interested in expanding on my existing releases, like developing https://wiki.moule.world and replacing the placeholder text on all 163 of its track and character pages with explanations, and releasing non-MOULE-WORLD-themed music.

I was gonna post my Spotify Wrapped for Artists stats like I do every year, but to be honest I've lost all interest in Spotify. I've even considered quitting DistroKid and focusing only on Bandcamp and possibly a self-hosted Faircamp / Funkwhale site.

There's gonna be big changes to how I develop :MW: MOULE WORLD and release music going forward, as I continue clearing out the last of my "algobrain" of pre-save hype campaigns and focus more on self-paced art-making without burnout.
