In diesem Video werden wir untersuchen, wie die japanische Kultur Schönheit in Alltagsgegenständen findet und wie sie alltägliche Routinen in sanfte Erinnerungen daran verwandelt, was wirklich wichtig ist. Von Keramik und handgewebten Werkzeugen bis hin zu sorgfältig gefertigten Schreibwaren und Verpackungen zeigt japanisches Design, dass Schönheit nicht auf Luxus oder Dekoration beschränkt ist. Sie lebt in den bescheidenen Dingen, die wir täglich benutzen, geprägt von Handwerkskunst, Einfachheit und Sorgfalt. Über die Objekte selbst hinaus werden wir auch Ideen wie yo no bi (用の美), monozukuri (物作り) und Mottainai (勿体無い) untersuchen und entdecken, wie diese Werte weiterhin still und leise unser tägliches Leben prägen.
