Wygląda na to, że NFC rzeczywiście działa, a na dodatek nie przestało działać nic innego xD
Przy okazji: czy warto byłoby machnąć wpis na blogasku o instalacji LineageOS na takiej starej Motorolce?

Po tym jak wczoraj kolejny raz pomarudziłem o powrocie do 19.1 jako ostatniej wersji LineageOS, w której działał zarówno aparat jak i NFC, dev znalazł w końcu przyczynę regresji i podobno w następnym buildzie LOS 20 (tym, który wyjdzie za tydzień) NFC będzie działać \o/

Zła wiadomość dla użytkowników europejskiej wersji Moto G7 (XT1962-5): po ponad pół roku od czasu gdy po aktualizacji LineageOS 20 przestało działać NFC, w końcu doczekaliśmy się konkretnej informacji od developera.
„-05 variant support has been removed - NFC may not be feasible on newer versions.
Users can still install and enjoy but officially we no longer support the NFC variant.”
Poprosiłem o udostępnienie ostatniej wersji LOS 19.1 dla tego modelu, bo obecnie jest niedostępna, a wygląda na to, że to jedyna szansa na działający telefon.

My mail client used to be @k9mail in my first smartphone (Xperia X8 with Cyanogen Mod).
I installed the app in #LineageOS now in my new #MotoG7.
When I first opened the app a message alert it is not made for #Android10. But It works so fine...
I think #K9Mail will be my e-mail client again. -
@codeHaiku do you still have the unlocked bootloader warning on your #motog7 or were you able to disable it?

@ataraxia937 I would go for the 6T. I recently picked up a Motorola #motog7, for less than $200, and put #lineageos on it. Couldn't be happier with the hardware and OS. The Pinephones are nice, in theory but, their hardware specs are on the lower end, compared to most phones these days.

@normandc Yeah, @codeHaiku and I have been following each other through the setup of the #motog7 and #lineageos . We were both able to snag them when they were around $179 each. Hard to argue the price.

@normandc I'm not 100% certain. Might be something to dig into. I just snagged a Motorola #motog7 and flashed it to #lineageos . The MotoG7 specs are pretty solid.

@deviaan @supermani @supermani I just switched over to #lineageos on a Motorola #motog7 and am absolutely loving it. It drives and feels just like regular Android but, completely sterilized from Google Services.

Successfully installed #LineageOS on my #motog7. Haven't had a chance to really take it for a full spin but, so far, I'm thoroughly impressed. I love the privacy conscious questions when enabling/disabling services during setup... very refreshing to see. I also love experiencing #android w/o getting eye raped via Google Sign-In prompts. I'll drop a toot once I have a change to run through and test it a bit.

Our new #motog7 phones arrived, last night. First impression is that it's a well built, beautiful device. Played around with the camera a bit and it's pretty crisp. I'll be loading #LineageOS on it, this weekend (hopefully). Pretty happy with the purchase. Thanks for the recommendation @codeHaiku 😃

I was finally able to install #LineageOS on my new #motog7 phone. Now I can actually trust this device and use it as my daily driver. Now begins the fun of getting apps from #fdroid and configuring things to my liking.

I finally had a chance to play with the #motog7 out of the box. It's faster and snappier than my #oneplus3t. Apps and webpages load faster on the #motog7. The amoled screen on the #oneplus3t looks better than the ips screen of the #motog7, especially with black shades and dark colors. But, this and higher resolution cameras are the only winning points for the #oneplus3t. It doesn't matter to me since I don't want my photos to be the size of a billboard.

Received the #motog7 today. I barely got to look at it for a minute or so and then parental obligations kicked in. That's the life of a commuter; see your family for 3 hours every evening and leave early in the morning in the dark while they are all asleep. This weekend might be ideal for installing #lineagos. But first, #Motorola must be contacted to get the bootloader unlock code.

The #motog7 arrives today and then it's onto the install of #lineageos. Who would have known that a mid-range phone could cause so much excitement? I'm done with high-end phones; there's no need for all that horsepower for someone with basic needs like me.

@cooper I studied and put all of the US compatible phones on a spreadsheet which were #lineageos compatible. I'm hesitant to buy the #xiaomi models. The #oneplus models are a bit pricey. When the #motog7 appeared as a supported device just weeks ago, it was a clear choice for me. Finally, a perfect phone with little to compromise. This rarely happens for me in the world of prices vs. tradeoffs.

I just ordered the #Motorola #motog7 #g7 phone for only 179 USD. For me, it's the ideal device. As soon as I get it, #LineageOS is going on the device.

I have a perfectly fine #oneplus3t running #lineageos15 . I want a new #motorola #motog7 so I can have a newer phone to also run #lineageos on. Persuade or dissuade me from making the purchase.
