Bought this book today. Despite the lack of CDROM I’m still disappointed.
I originally tried to buy this on Amazon. It was declined. I cannot but help think Daniel Flannagen has something to do with this.
I’ve been interested in this book for some time. The fact the CDROM is missing is frustrating.
If anyone can help locate it I’m grateful.

Some of you might recall I started the (poorly named) x11cp project some six years ago:
Given the interest in this, and some other ideas around trying to centralise motif development, I've recently been spurred on to updated it.
So that's what I've just done.
I've not added any new projects, but the existing projects now compile without warnings, and for some of them have a few enhancements/bug-fixes.
Right now, the #x11cp IRC channel on libera.chat is a hold-all for further discussions for motif development, etc. If that interests you, please join.
Thanks to @r1w1s1 and @techokami for nudging me on this.

Yes, as already suggested - coordinate dev efforts, as there are multiple forks of the motif, cde and related projects each supported by very few people, but with mostly the same goal.
- IRC channel is a great starter for now.
- If there would be other participants in Discord, Matrix, XMPP - there would be a reason to bridge them together.
- A united community project with the agreed goals, name, code of conduct (I guess nobody wants to repeat all these follouts of recent days when a bdfl goes fash/bananas)
- And then an infra, like project and repo and CIs, say on Codeberg or own domain. -
If anyone is interested in some light reading material, see this photo. Some of it is out of date slightly, but still relevant in most cases for a good foundational understanding of motif.
I do have some xlib books as well.
Oh, and yes, those are my slippers. ;P

moxfm is a motif version of X11's xfm:
https://github.com/ThomasAdam/moxfm
I've been "maintaining" it for years and recently put a plaster on it to compile on a modern C compiler.
There's plenty of other cleanup work to do.
But it functions.
See the screenshot attached.

un magnifique motif de roues au crochet, ça a l'air si délicat. (également c'est dommage qu'on ne trouve pas du tout les laines alizée en france, elles ont un el aspect pour un prix modique)
