1. Before coffee I am incapable or discerning up and down, let alone left and right
2. Now I have to find my glasses to put socks on?
3. What about the sock warp in my washing machineMy brain is going to flip
I'll be taking them back as I don't need the hassle of demanding socks in my life

Watching #MatchOfTheDay who rightly keep celebrating the fact that it’s their 60th year, I wonder why they don’t draw more on their archive. I’d love a #MotD Archive show after the main one where they show the best game from the equivalent week of the calendar from each of the decades.
Not only would it be interesting to see a good game from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s and 2010s - it’d also make for good “is football genuinely better now or not?” discussions.

I’m not really sure why the #BBC thought this would work TBH. Obviously they thought they could just pressure #GaryLineker into cowing to the Tories by keeping him off the air, but even without this fallout he’s a huge star who could simply go elsewhere for more money, it was a dreadful plan.
And now Sky News reporting #FootballFocus won’t air today as the boycott spreads beyond #MOTD.
