  3. ¿Qué pasa en mastodon.social?
Desde hace 3 días no veo los toots locales, ni los federados. Ni por la app Tusky ni por la web.

  6. @point5a @Vivaldi @johnbeen @pfefferle @mastodonmigration Now, I'm a bit confused.... I set up my #Vivaldi account, and I have access, but... I've actually found that "Community members, who actively use our services, will at some point get access to a free #webmail account ([email protected]) with #calendar and #contacts management."

    Moreover...

"Vivaldi Webmail is a service for active Vivaldi Community members using Vivaldi’s services. This means that new users, who registered their account after the 4th of May 2023, first need to build up a reputation to be granted access to the Webmail service.

    "Reputation is built by actively using other Vivaldi.net services – the #VivaldiForum, #VivaldiSocial [#Mostodon instance], #VivaldiBlogs [#blogs], #Themes, and the #browser’s #Sync feature.

"The reputation system is replacing the previous requirement to verify an account via one’s phone, which was set up to limit the number of spam accounts. For additional information, read our blog post on the topic."

  13. There is some stunning #mostodon action on the dry stone walls and the sun has blessed us. We head out on Cam Gill road which is very pretty, if a little bit steep. The #fingerpost suggests a gradient of 1 in 4. No idea what that means in reality, but its inclusion suggests its note worthy.

  14. I've never thought of the common bird nest fungus as actually being common. The last time I spotted one was twenty years ago. Well, until yesterday it was uncommon. There must be some trifecta of temperature, moisture and growing conditions that has suddenly triggered a population explosion. I'm finding them all over the place.

They rely on direct hits from rain drops to splash the eggs out of the nest, where they will dry and then spread the spores.
