Mostar, Bosnia is the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave.

Took a day trip to #Mostar yesterday. It was surreal to walk across the Stari Most having watched the news reports showing its destruction by the Croatian army in 1993. Our tour guide did a great job of explaining how the structures established by the Dayton Agreement have crippled the country, even if they ended the war.

It's hard to believe that it's 13 years since I was in Mostar. I absolutely fell in love with the place, the people, the food and wrote about it many times. I hope to go back to Bosnia one day
