Yesterday, I shared a post about a four-day-old baby killed by Israel in a terrorist attack in Gaza.
I am sharing this again with further details, devastating ones.
    1. The baby’s name was Watin al-Khabbaz.
    2. As shown in the video, shrapnel tore a gaping hole in Watin’s head.
    3. Watin was killed alongside her father, mother, grandmother, and her five-month-old cousin.

Durante il genocidio a Gaza, Abu Toha ha contribuito con articoli e poesie a importanti pubblicazioni internazionali come ‘The New Yorker’, ‘The Atlantic’ e ‘The New York Times Magazine’, offrendo testimonianze dirette delle atrocità vissute dalla popolazione civile.

    Can we take a rest?
    Maybe die for a few
    months or years
    and wake up when poem
    is complete,
    when the flowers in our
    garden start to grow,
    their scent luring
    the sparrows into visiting
    our house,
    our house that's now
    a small forrest of rubble.

  9. the only reason israel is killing people

The only reason Israel killed this tragic number of people in Gaza this early morning is because it does not want to proceed to the second stage of the ceasefire deal as planned, because it simply does not want a permanent ceasefire (withdrawal from Gaza and reconstruction.)

    FULL STOP.
Anyone who talks about something else is a LIAR.

    We feel pain and weep.

We can’t forever continue to endure this hell.
We need this stop, not because we are not strong, but because we are humans."

    What Is Home?
Mosab Abu Toha
    What is home:
it is the shade of trees on my way to school before they were uprooted.
It is my grandparents’ black-and-white wedding photo before the walls
crumbled.
It is my uncle’s prayer rug, where dozens of ants slept on wintry nights, before it was looted and
put in a museum.
It is the oven my mother used to bake bread and roast chicken before a bomb reduced our
house to ashes.
It is the café where I watched football matches and played –
My child stops me: Can a four-letter word hold all of these?
