#MortalKombat2 - tak pomiedzy 6,5 a 7/10
Jest fanserwis - sa areny, ciosy, znajome odniesienia, w paru momentach pojawia sie znajoma muzyka. Walki to sa kurna, znowu walki, a nie 30-sekundowe teledyski rodem z MTV.
Jest tez kilka logicznych glupotek (tak, wiem, zaraz ktos sie popuka w czolo, ze szukam logiki w MK - ale kilka takich "detali" naprawde kluje po oczach).
Tak samo jak po oczach lub uszach kluje dobor niektorych aktorow, na czele z #Raiden.em - no nie moge sie przyzwyczaic do typa, #Lambert wypadal w tej roli calkowicie naturalnie, a #Asano wypada... no sam nie wiem jak to opisac, od pierwszych chwil mam takie "cos tu nie gra".Ciekawostka - kiedy w "pierwszych" (bo sa dwie serie) napisach koncowych lecial #TechnoSyndrome z pierwszego Mortal Kombat, z sali prawie nikt nie wyszedl (film w linku), dopiero przy drugich napisach, juz takich klasycznych, lecacych na czarnym tle. Bedzie trzecia czesc, to niemal pewne, sadzac po zakonczeniu. I nie, nie ma sceny po napisach, smuteczek. ;)
edit: wiem jak opisac Asano jako Raidena - jakbyscie kazali Karolakowi grac mitycznego boga... no nie, no po prostu kurwa no nie xD

looks like there's a #MortalKombat2 movie out.
I thought, ah, maybe I should rewatch the first, I think it was bad but maybe I don't remember.
Nope, It's shit.
It's incredible how they managed to make such a bad movie. I cannot understand how they managed to make another one and who's going to see it after seeing the first one. -
Just watched Mortal Kombat II with a buddy at the cinema. Had (sub?) zero expectations, did not see the one from a couple of years ago. But had a very good time. Pretty tongue-in-cheek, some memberberries, surprisingly passionate story unfolding (for these kinds of movies) and of course some very brutal scenes, but thankfully and surprisingly not nearly as many as I feared. So if you're open to a light pre-summer movie that will have you leaving the cinema with a grin and maybe some chuckles as you just had a good time, go for it. You don't have to be a die-hard MK fan - I most certainly am not.

Since #Toonami is on right now and they aired the #MortalKombat2 trailer last week, I've got a question to ask...
Why, exactly, couldn't Adult Swim/Toonami air the #MortalKombat animated movies? Especially since they've aired #Primal, and that's very bloody/gory.

Wow, jestem pod wrażeniem, jak celnie "Mortal Kombat 2" naprawia praktycznie wszystkie błędy poprzednika. Niepotrzebnie wprowadzony nowy protagonista? Niewiele walk i w nieszczególnie ciekawych sceneriach? Brak wyrazistości, turnieju i w ogóle 3/4 filmu niósł na swych barach Kano? No to "dwójka" wypada znacznie, znacznie lepiej.
Od świetnie zrealizowanych pojedynków w znajomych arenach, przez wiele trafionych gagów i smaczków dla fanów serii, po satysfakcjonująco ukazany kolejny ważny wątek z przebogatego lore'u Mortal Kombat. Krew się leje jak trzeba, fatale wywołują banana na twarzy, do tego twórcy nie boją się zabijać ważnych postaci (chociaż mam obawy, że "trójka" w tym jednak namiesza). No i Karl Urban doskonale sprawdził się jako Johnny Cage, ale to już było wiadomo od pierwszego trailera.
Bawiłem się doskonale i choć ekranizacja z 1995 roku wciąż jest u mnie wyżej, być może to siła sentymentu. Na razie chcę do kina jeszcze raz!
