Zipper is in! Visible but we're calling it Fashion. Youngest can work it smoothly on their own. The third and final attempt at an emergency pleat (8 inches) is hard to spot.

The waistline, sob, is too too low. One emergency fix was a fail. I'll try again tomorrow. There will be a wide belt that I hope will hide a multitude of sins.

Cut the fabric, including the all important pockets, and put in tailor tacks. So easy and they feel so elegant.
