Well heck it’s Friday already - this week seems to have zipped by!
I just want to mention that I am not amused by the unseasonably low May temperatures, I know we are all cost cutting but could someone turn the UK thermostat up a little please!
Been to the gym & just finishing my coffee now then a quick burst of effort in the general direction of the laundry before figuring out what to do with the rest of the day.

Saturday & against all probability & expectation the world is still spinning in the same direction despite the massive backward step taken by a large chunk of the English electorate yesterday!
Well done to the Welsh though, seems Plaid Cymru played a blinder! There is hope yet, somewhere in the UK!

Been to the gym, done most of my chores & finally got some breakfast.
We have a guy coming around in a bit to see Mrs S so I am going to make myself scarce & go shopping.

Monday & because it’s a Bank Holiday it’s a grey n manky start to the day. Temps right down from the 21º we had on Friday, only managing to climb to 13ºC today!
We’re off to a family lunch to celebrate a couple of recent birthdays so off across the hills in a bit.

Sunday has somewhat sleepily wandered in, settled on the sofa & demanded coffee.
The promised rain has arrived, obviously, this being a Bank Holiday weekend.
No plans for today, I need to wrap some presents & write a couple of cards for a joint family birthday bash tomorrow but other than that the day is free.

Saturday, the sun is in & out of the clouds & there is a forecast of rain for later on. The temperatures having peaked yesterday are on a slow descent into the low teens later next week.
This is not unexpected, Monday being a public holiday & therefore traditionally having rubbish weather!The ghost of re-pointed brickwork lingers on the patio, I am hoping that a good brushing session & maybe a jetwash will bring it back to something like normal.
