It felt great to spend some time on the bike today. 28 miles and a few hills. I saw a coyote and stopped to take a photo but it got a little spooked, so I took this panoramic of the field it was in instead, on West Day Road in Gilroy.

Coyote Creek Trail, a nice 18 mile paved bike path in the southern portion of the San Jose CA area and just a bit north of Morgan Hill. We rode the trail out and back yesterday for an easy and mostly flat 36 miles. It's a pretty trail along the creek and worth exploring.

Got entry and started training for the #STP bikeride in July-- like 210 miles from Seattle to Portland over a two day weekend.

Easing into it this week with 30mi on the trainer and 30mi on the road. End of March going to start getting out with some of the local #MorganHill riding groups. Def feeling those spring oats.
