#WrongLondon is filled with alleyways and dead-ends, but it is more filled with #tunnels.
These lightless arteries pump #void from its dark heart to sustain this this #empty city. Sometimes it leaks.

5/5 #hiddenlondon Moorgate
Edited to include photo (Doh!):
Final snap from the #tfl tour of #Moorgate is a bit of a cheat as I took this one in a public bit by sticking my camera into the middle of the spiral staircase going down from the ticket hall to the national rail platforms.
All this week with the Laowa 7.5mm F2 on my EM1iii.

1/5 #hiddenlondon Moorgate
The London Transport Museum arrange tours of the disused parts of tube stations. This week I'm sharing snaps of a behind the scenes visit to #Moorgate starting with this disused staircase.
All this week with the Laowa 7.5mm F2 on my EM1iii.

#Moorgate was one of the gates in City of London's defensive wall. Moorfields, an open area of marsh, was north of the wall. There are descriptions of Moorgate from the early 15th century. The gate, along with the other London city wall gates, was demolished around 1761.
