Work in progress. 13 wireweaved copper bracelets waiting for the final steps.
I consider this the "ugly" phase.
Time is going by too fast. Past 2 weeks I took time to organize, started an inventory spreadsheet and made lists of the next steps in creating before classes and work start taking most of my time.
Taking it one step at a time. Making jewelry brings the Griefy feelings in front of me, while for the most part I have learned how to coexist with it.
Taking deep breaths and moving through it. For me and mommy.

On day 295 I created a beautiful pair of wire wrapped earrings.
It took me a week of exposure therapy to get to complete them ,but I did it . Lots of tears. A constant reminder of her absence , but I focused on the joy my creations bring. This pair is for me.
Next goal. Create another piece of jewelry by Sunday July 26 8pm.
I created jewelry while sitting with mom
for 5 years
as I was taking care of her. After she passed I tried to create pieces, but sitting down and touching the wires just reminded me she was no longer here.
Honoring her memory and healing that griefy place in my heart by taking small steps.
*Goal this week is to make one pair of fun earrings by Sunday the 19 th by 8 pm.
