@SolentAreaProg Most enjoyable gig was #MoonSafari by a country mile. They are such a different entity live, much more gutsy.
As for 'new' discovery, I've been getting into #echolyn this year, although not a new band by a long chalk, they've been blowing me away. -
So I've just returned from the rather wonderful #SummersEndFestival, a 4 day extravaganza of #progrock music in #chepstow.
Highlight of the weekend was the hugely impressive #MoonSafari, a band from Sweden who are fond of major keys and employ close vocal harmonies, sometimes 5 part.
From their opening chords I had a feeling we were in for something special and I wasn't wrong. One of the best gigs I've seen.

Einige meiner Follower hier kennen ja auch meine aktiven #SELFHTML-Forums-Zeiten und wissen vielleicht, dass es da um die Jahrtausendwende mal einen Abschnitt namens #Kess in meinem Leben gab. Diese ganze Zeit ist für mich musikalisch irgendwie untrennbar verbunden mit dem Album #MoonSafari des französischen TripHop-Duos #Air. Und das habe ich gerade wiederentdeckt, und zwar als als Konzert-Video, ganz taufrisch (Ende Mai) live aufgenommen mit 2020er-Equipment in der Royal Albert Hall London für ARTE Concert. Nur ist leider Beth Hirsch nicht mit dabei.
