Specifically, in Christianity, this Moon is known as the Lenten Moon if it is the last full Moon of the winter season (i.e., if it occurs before the spring equinox) or as the Paschal Full Moon if it is the first full Moon of spring (i.e., if it occurs after the spring equinox).

  4. After several days of waiting, we finally got a bit of clear sky tonight and it gave me a chance to try out my new Sky-Watcher telescope.
    Very pleased with what I could see of the Moon. Also managed to see Jupiter with some of its moons.
    I managed to grab this pic using my iPhone through the eye piece.

  5. More moon pics taken from my apartment balcony. It was absolutely baltic so could t stay out long. First pic cropped in slightly and second cropped much more.
