I got home from the Witchy Stitcher Retreat to a bit of a surprise—some flooding that needs to be dealt with first.
Everything is okay, but it does mean restocks may take a little longer than planned while I get things sorted here.
I’ll share a full retreat wrap-up soon once I’ve had a chance to catch my breath.

Winter Sky is now available.
Cool blues, cloudy marbling, and deeper storm-like patches create a fabric that shifts depending on where you look.
Dyed in small batches on premium Zweigart base fabrics.
Available on Aida, opal Aida, linen, and Lugana.

Small batch dye days start long before fabric goes into the pot.
Measuring, batching, and keeping notes are what make it possible to recreate a color — even when working with natural dyes.
This jar is walnut dye. It can produce anything from soft warm browns to deep chocolate tones depending on how the batch is run.
I’ll probably be dyeing with this next weekend.

Progress on a trimmed version of Battle, artwork by Daniel Eskridge. I’m stitching the sky section first, with lots of sunset/sunrise colors. It’ll be a while before I get to the ship, but I’m really pleased with these early colors. 🧵✨

Latest progress on Dark Queen of the Earth by Autumn Lane Stitchery. Just started Part 5, which sits between the teal/green dress section and the rosy petal dress section. The forest colors make this a very satisfying SAL to stitch. 🧵✨

From Black Needle Society, I opened a piece of 14ct Wichelt Aida in “Touch of Grey.” It’s such a soft, misty grey… absolutely perfect for cozy winter stitching. ❄️🧵

Today’s treats were gorgeous:🌲 Caterpillar Cross Stitch sent a beautiful pine-green Aida (looks like 14 or 16ct). Such a rich, wintry color!
❄️ Black Needle Society included a corner measure + floss drop featuring a lovely winter ice-skating scene. It’s not something I’ll use as a tool, but the design is so pretty—I might turn it into a little ornament.
