As I bask in the radiance of the full moon, I look at the stars and cannot help but marvel at the fact of their light, having crossed untold distance over aeons beyond reckoning to speckle the night sky like a connect-the-dots puzzle with no numbers.
And doesn't that make the constellations a beautiful metaphor for the innate sense-- one we often ignore-- of the profound interconnectedness of all things?

For me, the thing about #moongazing is the sense of connectedness: to the night sky, to Luna in her monthly dance (and the stars around her in their much slower one), and also to the Earth (which goes together with the night sky and the North in my practice, but that's a separate post).
