So I ordered my first #iem, a #moondrop chu2. Now I need to find something to listen to music on, but DAPs seem really expensive. I'm thinking about buying a midrange phone with a headphone jack, just to listen to music. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

One thing that's nice about being in a tech office again is that I can get casual recommendations again. I mentioned that my little soundblaster amp couldn't drive my beyerdynamic dt 770s from my phone, and since the S21 Ultra doesn't have a headphone jack, that really sucks. I download my music like an old person and listen to it via Nextcloud Music, so it's a real shame that I can't listen to music at work. My coworker suggested I buy the moondrop USB-C amp, and let me use his for the day, and it was so great, even though it was €50, I bought one as soon as my paycheck arrived. My work does reimbursement of office equipment up to €200, so I also get that money back. Look at the size of it too. It's larger than I'm used to, but honestly, the best thing I've used without going much larger.

My only negative but goofy comment is, "omg, it comes in a tin with an anime girl on it...".

I just got my #FinalAudio #IEM tips in the mail. These are the most comfortable tips you can buy in my opinion, but most importantly they have half sizes. I’m between a medium and a small and they have tips that at just the right size. They were a bitch getting them on my #Moondrop #KXXS. I had been avoiding dropping $15 for these but now wish I had done so sooner. I probably have enough tips to last me five years now.
