I feel like there’s too much emphasis on the mooncakes for the mid-autumn festival. The drinking good tea and admiring the moon part is important too!

We can't even give away our salty egg yolk mooncakes without someone trying to give us theirs in return. I'd be really curious to know what percentage gets thrown out.

I tried out my new mooncake molds last night.
Inspired by Van's "Easy 2-Ingredient OREO Cookies ‘n Cream Mooncakes" recipe (link: https://foodisafourletterword.com/recipe/easy-2-ingredient-cookies-n-cream-mooncakes/ ), I decided to make cranberry ginger mooncakes, using ginger snaps, sweetened dried cranberries and some dark chocolate.
I think they turned out well. Hubby says he likes them. I'll be sharing them with some friends tonight to get their feedback. ::fingers crossed::

Mid Autumn Festival mooncakes 🤤♥️♥️♥️ they were SO GOOD. The big traditional one is lotus with melon seed flavor, the small red one with the lovely rose design is the BEST strawberry mooncake I have ever eaten and the yellow and green one was a delicious mango 😍 #thailand #mooncakes #food
