Wieder daheim von einer fantastischen #MoodleMootDACH in Lübeck. Zwei Tage DevCamp mit wahnsinnig vielen tollen neuen Projekten, zwei Tage Barcamp mit viel Barcamp-Schmerz (aka "Wie soll ich unter den vielen fantastischen Sessions denn auswählen?"), ganz viele tolle menschliche Begegnungen, so einige zum allerersten Mal face-to-face. Und ganz besonders gefreut hat mich, dass die #Moodlebande mit 17 Mitgliedern mit am Start war!

I have a problem with #moodlemootdach25
The problem is that my head quickly starts spinning with people who are so very creative, talented, engaging, thoughtful and generous with their time. The sheer brain power is almost overwhelming.
As someone who sadly only speeks English I am in awe of their ability to switch language "on the fly" on hightly detailed and technical subjects.

On my second last train of five for today, going from Antwerp to Lübeck for #MoodleMootDACH. We are making good progress. It's not as fast as the 298km/h between Frankfurt and Cologne, but still good.

It is over 20 years since I went to my first #MoodleMoot, however the finest have been #MoodleMootDach. Tickets are free and it is divided into Dev Camp and bar camp. You don’t have to be a dev to benefit from it and you don’t need to speak German.
However, since I went to my first one three years ago I have started every day with 5 minutes of the Youtube channel “Easy German”. This year it is from 2 to 5 Sept 2025 in Lubeck Germany.

@marcusgreen C4L also has a version for TinyMCE - we chose it as one part of our plugin set to make the amazing work of @FrauSpeckner available in an easy way to our teachers. At #MoodleMootDACH in Vienna we started (and finished a first working version) our work on a fork of tiny_c4l to allow configuring the components/categories/... via admin backend (with the upstream version you need to change JS and SCSS in the plugin to do that), to make it a bit more flexible and ready for sharing designs
