It is over 20 years since I went to my first #MoodleMoot, however the finest have been #MoodleMootDach. Tickets are free and it is divided into Dev Camp and bar camp. You don’t have to be a dev to benefit from it and you don’t need to speak German.
However, since I went to my first one three years ago I have started every day with 5 minutes of the Youtube channel “Easy German”. This year it is from 2 to 5 Sept 2025 in Lubeck Germany.
