In anticipation of #CrispSandwichDay tomorrow, I used the power of rationality and logic to teach my brain to enjoy Pickled Onion #MonsterMunch, a crisp that I thought I hated!

Turns out I just needed to explain to myself that:
1. I like pickled onions.
2. I like the vinegar flavouring from salt & vinegar crisps.
3. I like the onion flavouring from cheese & onion crisps.
4. Therefore, I must like pickled onion crisps, right?

Tonight’s #taste adventure with #Covid sees me try an old childhood favourite, pickle onion flavoured #MonsterMunch #crisps, then a dark #chocolate #KitKat. A very kind friend dropped off the former on Sunday with great cakes. My sense of taste is blunted, especially sweet things. But very strong works. #Coffee with sugar is very weird though. My usual #tea with no sugar works ok. #BritishFood

Meet Heinz 57 (pedigree name: British #Museum 1991,0501.45). Now, if I tell you this little #Snettisham beauty measures 44 x 43mm, you'll visualise it - but if I tell you it weighs 22g, you'll look at me quizzically.

However, if I say it's the same weight as a multipack bag of #MonsterMunch (flavour of your choice), then you'll know exactly what I mean!!! 🤣
